I'm having some trouble understanding what the title is supposed to mean..
But for some reason I thought of Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea when I saw this, I'm not sure why.. :D I think this has an air of a harbour or a really small port of some kind, and these might be some sort of racks for holding or drying fish from the ocean. Soe of the shapes suggest an aquatic theme, like that one that looks like a fish's tail.
But thinking about the word 'joy', this does articulate that here; the colours are really dynamic and jolly and bright, and the repeated shapes might indicate the idea of a consecutive series of brush-strokes..

Looks very colourful and happy! :)

This is excellent in its simplicity. Nice hand and eye.
